I'm Julie J., the breeder behind 'Brick'House Couture Pomskies located in Norfolk, VA. Nurse Practitioner by day, Pomsky Mommy by night. At Brick’House Couture Pomskies, we raise healthy, intelligent, friendly Pomskies with exceptional temperament and care. Our deepest wish is to share our family with yours through a puppy you’ll love for life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love Dogs! Since middle school, I have always wanted to be a breeder. As I got older I began to understand the magnitude and responsibility of breeding animals. I wanted to wait until I found the perfect breed that I wanted to see flourish in the world. Pomsky's are that breed for me. I believe that they are "AMAZING"! I want to help put the best family dogs, in the best family environments.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are dedicated to achieving excellence in creating healthy family pets. We strive to produce friendly, energetic, and well-adjusted pets. Our pups provide unlimited kisses, cuddles, and companionship. But, most importantly "UNCONDITIONAL" love! Our puppies would be an "AMAZING" addition to your family. "BRICK'House" Couture Pomskies - We create puppies for families!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include wolf sable, tri-color, silver and white, white, black, black and white, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Julie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Julie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Profile, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Julie is the best, hands down! A wonderful person whose love for this breed truly comes through everything she does. She is caring, responsive, incredibly pleasant to talk to, accommodating, and very understanding. I was not immediately ready to bring Skye home because we had just lost our 15 year old rescue, but she allowed me time to get myself and my stuff together in order to bring Skye into the best home I could possibly offer to her. The whole process was easy, smooth, and full of important information. Julie kept in touch daily with photos and videos and, when we were ready, she had Skye all dressed up for us. It was the sweetest thing ever. I cannot say enough great things about Julie, I recommended her to so many people already!     I can not say ENOUGH great things about Julie and her dogs! We unexpectedly were just looking at puppy pomskies, having lost our 15 yo pom earlier this year. We spotted her "stable" of pomsky parents and followed her site. This past October, we saw a white/cream blue eyed boy who we couldn't resist!! After visiting with her and her family, we were surrounded by beautiful, healthy, active and loving pomskies! Julie is extremely knowledgeable in the breed, which we are very grateful for as our 5 yo female pomsky is desperately struggling with her weight. While we love her no matter what, we have definitely learned how important good. responsible breeding of pomskies is! We absolutely adore our sweet boy, and he has adapted to our crazy family of 2 other husky mixes as well as a 3 yo granddaughter. I will NEVER go to anyone other than Julie, she, her caring family and wonderful pomskies are the BEST by far!!!!!
