I'm Devin G., the breeder behind Brightleaf Goldendoodles located in Durham, NC. We would love to speak with you about what puppy would be the best fit for you. We are a quality breeder of health tested and home raised Goldendoodle puppies. We love these dogs and are looking to share them with others. We focus on health, structure and temperaments for our breeding dogs and will be working to breed service dogs in the future. Why did you start breeding?
Having had dogs all of her life, Devin started dog sitting 6 years ago. She was fourtunate enough to have a few Goldendoodle guest dogs and fell in love with the happy fun loving and just downright cute Goldendoodle breed. After bringing her first Goldendoodle home and researching what it takes to be a truly exceptional breeder she decided that breeding was the way to go. Breeding Goldendoodles is a passion for Devin and she looks forward to sharing the happiness and love that a Goldendoodle can bring to her puppy buyers.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are health tested to ensure we are promoting only the best in the Goldendoodle breed. We strive to produce top quality Goldendoodles for loving and caring homes.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, black, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Devin
Devin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $350 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“After submitting your application through good dog, we will conduct a phone interview. Once that is completed and we both decide to proceed, we will send a puppy purchase agreement to the email you provide. Immediately upon execution of your puppy purchase agreement we require a $300 dollar reservation fee in order to be placed on the waitlist. After signing the puppy reservation fee your payment is expected no later than 1 hour afterwards. The order in which your deposit arrives determines the order that you pick your puppy. Once pregnancy confirmation is made by ultrasound, the remainder of the reservation fee is due within 24 hours. This is $200 making the total reservation fee $500. If puppies have already been born, a one time reservation fee of $500 secures your pick position on the waitlist. This amount is deducted from the balance. This reservation fee is non-refundable unless there is a problem with the health of your puppy. In that case, the buyer will have their choice of a full refund or of transferring that deposit toward another puppy. The balance will be paid the day you pick up your new puppy. There is an additional $15 a day charge for puppies kept longer than 8 weeks of age. Puppies are picked on go home day at 8 weeks old. We do not guarantee a color or gender. We require a $500 dollar reservation fee in order to hold the puppy of your choice. The order in which your deposit arrives determines the order that you pick your puppy. Your pick position is not held until you sign the purchase agreement and submit payment. Your payment is to be received no less than one hour after signing. This reservation fee is non-refundable unless there is a problem with the health of your puppy. In that case, the buyer will have their choice of a full refund or of transferring that deposit toward another puppy. The balance will be paid the day you pick up your new puppy. There is an additional $15 a day charge for puppies kept longer than 8 weeks of age.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
