It’s exciting to post proof of what we already knew- Clara is pregnant to Axel!😀 Clara began to show early and it feels like a big litter is on the way however, we will do a prenatal visit and x-ray for a puppy count with our veterinarian around the first week of May. This is Clara‘s last litter before she retires. And interestingly, this is Axel’s first litter to be born in America. He had one litter before in Poland.

The puppies all saw the vet on Monday. They all got their health certificates, vaccinations, and microchips. Yesterday they were in the house and met themselves in the mirror. Then they were glad to have a big afternoon nap.

Very precious puppies

Moose and Chanel’s three puppies were two weeks old yesterday! The puppies opened their eyes at ten days old and are lifting their heavy heads to look around! At 15 days old, Chanel’s babies weigh a whopping five pounds🫢. These dear pups are growing every day and are very well cared for by their dear mommy. Chanel likes to get away from them to spend time out inside in the snow. However, as soon as she remembers that she has babies inside, she is back at the door waiting to be let in! Beau likes to look in his little siblings, but his mother is not too sure about that!

We couldn't be happier with our new Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Chloe and Moose's litter! We brought her home last Saturday, and she's already settled in beautifully after just a couple of days. She's incredibly sweet, loves meeting new people, and is always eager to greet other dogs. We're also amazed that loud noises, even the vacuum cleaner, don't faze her one bit – she's a very confident little pup! Connie and Katie were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process, providing helpful guidance at every step.

My experience communicating with Katie from Brookwood was great. I had a choice of 3 females from the same litter and could not visit to see them in person. I received very thoughtful descriptions of each, photos and lengthy videos so I could see each’s personalities. We have been very happy with the girl we chose.

We could not be happier about our experience working with Katie. She was communicative and responsive; we had originally intended to get a puppy this Spring, but when a puppy became available sooner than that, Katie let us know and we ended up with our sweet Satchel (formerly Ezra). Satchel is perfect; incredibly well socialized, crate trained, adorable, and as sweet as he can be. We are in love with him. We couldn’t recommend Brookwood more highly.

We are thrilled to have found Connie and Katie as breeders. Each sire and dam are beautiful and in excellent health and disposition and conformation. We bought a puppy from Chloe and Moose's litter. What a gorgeous pup he is and absolutely charming and smart as a whip. The pups are raised with lots of love and hands on, with other dogs and kittens, and a farm life. They are so well socialized and confident. Puppies certainly come from a lineage of show quality and the price is on target. We received updates and videos and pictures throughout the eight weeks. We didn't think he could be better those updates, yet when we met him he far exceeded any of our expectations. Any questions or concerns were quickly answered by Katie. What a wonderful experience all around. (We even had a twelve hour delay in the airport and he was the hit of the terminal, we had never seen so many people coo over a puppy like this, and he took it like a trooper. He even used the potty properly!) The breeders are just so terrific, kind and knowledgable. We received instructions, information, tips, etc. Connie & Katie are the BEST OF THE BEST! We would not go anywhere else after this.

Connie, Katie, & the entire family were wonderful beyond measure, and we are head over HEELS in love with our sweet new boy. Every step of the way Connie and Katie were communicative, informative, and kind - from initial puppy deposit, waiting for a litter, and the pure joy of finding out puppies were born. You can see from everywhere on their beautiful farm that all of their adult dogs are loved beyond belief, and they are just the sweetest moms and dad (handsome Weatherby is an icon!). Katie and Connie have made our family 🩵
