I'm Kristen B., the breeder behind Brugger’s Doodles and Poodles located in Metropolis, IL. We have a small breeding program in order to provide the ultimate care. We hope to grow our program over the coming years. We strive to produce wonderful family pets. Our goal is to produce allergy friendly dogs that are healthy, intelligent, cute and friendly.
Q. & A. with Kristen
Why did you start breeding?
My mom bred dogs years ago and always produced great dogs. I love working with our dogs and puppies to make them the best dogs for people to add to their family.
What makes your program special?
We keep our dogs and our puppies in our home. We work with them from the beginning on good behaviors, litter training, and socialization. I temperament test our puppies when they are between 5-7 weeks old. This ensures our puppies are matched with their perfect family. My children are very involved with the puppies daily. We also use the Puppy Culture Program.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
