I'm Marleen C., the breeder behind BryMar Poodles, Chinese Crested & Russian Toys located in Florida. I am a show breeder of Miniature Poodles, Chinese Cresteds and Russian Toys. I have been breeding miniature poodles for about 16 years, Chinese Cresteds for 4 years and Russian toys for 1 year. I actively show all 3 breeds. All my dogs are bred for health, temperament and conformation.

Why did you start breeding?
I showed horses all of my life and as I got older horses became more difficult, so I started showing dogs. I started in Miniature poodles and still love the breed but have also added Chinese Cresteds and Russian Toys to my family. I needed a breed that was a little more wash and wear than a poodle to move forward with.What makes your program special?
I do not produce a lot of puppies, which allows me to focus on puppies as they mature. I have selected my breeding dogs from the top kennels in the country that have generations of sound healthy dogs. I am a firm believer in the power of genetics, so I breed all my dogs based pedigree. I have some of the best pedigrees in each breed and work to preserve those pedigrees.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our Chinese Crested puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Chinese Crested puppies include white and black and black and white. Poodle puppies include black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies are sold on limited registration and spay neuter contracts unless puppy is a show prospect. Show home will be vetted separately and only show quality puppies will be placed in show prospect homes.”

Marleen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), Chondrodystrophy (CDDY and IVDD Risk) with or without Chondrodysplasia (CDPA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
