Meet the breeder

I'm Sue W., the breeder behind Bugziere Bernese Mountain Dogs located in Oshkosh, WI. I love the Bernese Mountain Dog breeds. I do not breed often, but when I do, I am very selective about what dogs will be bred and where those puppies end up. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy.

Q. & A. with Sue

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was smitten by the breed when I saw my first Berner and have never lost that. I had a great mentor that helped me get started.
  • What makes your program special?

I am looking at pedigrees for longevity and health but want my puppies to happy and healthy mentally but also look like a Bernese Mountain Dog.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
