Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Butterfield's Westies located in Eugene, OR. We are an AKC Breeder located in Eugene, Oregon. With our puppies we focus not only on breed standard, but genetics as well! I am a committed and passionate breeder that has nearly a decade of experience in breeding with a background in Veterinary Medicine.

Q. & A. with Kelli

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for animals started as a child and continued on through my career as a Veterinary Technician in the US ARMY. From there I was given amazing experiences and training to work and care for not only privately owned pets, but our MWDs. Once retired I devoted my focus to responsible breeding with a strong influence in genetics.
  • What makes your program special?

I have a background in Veterinary Medicine & have years of experience working with many types of animals. I work closely with my veterinarian and have put a lot of time and dedication into my breeding program. All dogs live in my home and are members of our family. Each puppy has been raised in a loving & nurturing environment where they are exposed and socialized with children and other animals.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
