I'm Candy C., the breeder behind Camic Cockapoos located in Haines City, FL. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience! We give lifetime support.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I went to a dog show and fell in love with the cocker spaniels.

  • What makes your program special?

    We only do first generation Cockapoos. The only true Cockapoos. Our dogs have strong champion pedigrees that conform to each breed AKC standard. We do DNA HEALTH testing to produce the best quality and best temperament puppies.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cockapoo puppies include brown white and tan, sable, buff and white, red and white, red, cream, golden, buff, brown and tan, brown, black and tan, and black. Cocker Spaniel puppies are buff. Poodle puppies include apricot, cream, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Candy

Candy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $4,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Cockapoo are $1400-$1800 Poodles AKC reg $1000.-$4000 Cocker spaniels $1800-$3000. I have $200 nonrefundable deposit to secure a particular puppy till you can come see it in person or pick it up if it’s ready. Your deposit can be moved to another litter only. And is always available to you.”

    We adore our Cockapoo from Candy. She is beautiful, healthy and super smart. Candy was accurate in terms of estimating her final weight and size, which I have heard is not always the case with other breeders who claim the puppy will end up smaller than ends up being the case. To me that was important as we want to be able to bring her on a plane occasionally. Candy was also flexible in terms of keeping her for 2 more weeks, as I could not pick her up right away after she was weaned. She also offered to drive the puppy to the airport which helped as I flew in for Boston just to pick her up.

    I’ve had many dogs in my life but never one like Pebbles. She is very sweet but also a rascal. Everyone knows her by name at the dog park. She greets everybody both human and dog and seeks to play with anyone available. When I take her to the dog park I can just sit and watch because she will entertain herself ragged until it’s time to leave. She’s always following me around the house and is a velcro dog, always sitting or laying next to where I am. Kindest and smartest dog I ever had.

    We are so happy with our Cockapoo puppy purchase from Candy Courchesne!! We couldn’t be more pleased! He is now 3 1/2 months old and is very well mannered. Everyone comments on his nice behavior! I gave him his first haircut and it took only 20 minutes. He did a very good job of cooperating for a little guy. Definitely give Candy a call.
