I'm Blake W., the breeder behind Caradoc Kennel located in Roseville, OH. We are an AKC Silver Breeder of Merit for Icelandic Sheepdogs. We believe in developing the "whole" dog through a lifetime of learning and producing sound structure and temperament. It would be our honor to introduce you to your next beloved pet!

    We understand the very important role that breeders undertake; that today’s breeders are the guardians of the future Icelandic Sheepdogs. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies for families but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that these breeds will continue to thrive for generations to come.

    We believe in developing the "whole" dog through a lifetime of learning and breeding for sound structure and temperament. Here at Caradoc Kennel pups, we are dedicated to producing top quality puppies who are prepared to excel in their forever homes. We work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for our dogs and their forever families.

Getting a puppy from Blake

Puppy prices include between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a microchip and registry, AKC registration, age appropriate socialization, vaccination, and initial basic training.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Repository

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
