I've been telling people that Ginger has a UKC pedigree but isn't registered, and it turns out she is. I totally forgot it was sent in for registration.

About Ginger
Ginger has a UKC pedigree and is the sweetest of all my dogs. She will let herself be picked up by strangers if she gets loose and goes on patrol, and she loves people when we go to stores, but is totally fierce when on the farm and in protection mode. Once she was outside and loose when some visitors pulled into the driveway, and Ginger dashed across the yard and over a 4' fence in a second and stood barking in front of the visitors until I said they were ok, and in an instant she was all smiles and wagging tail and sweet Ginger again. Ginger is a great mom, and I still have one of her daughters, Roxy, by Samson's son Lenny. This is Ginger's second and last litter.

About Samson
Samson is not a UKC dog, but my main working dog and the only dog I trust off-leash and outside at all times to protect the poultry and farm cats around my house from packs of coyotes. His sire was a Turkish dog imported through Belgium, and I got him from a K9 trainer in Tennessee, who received Samson and his brother as payment for some training he did for the sire's owner.
Samson is almost 7 now, and a few years ago he was run over by a truck in front of my farm and was so mad that he got up with a broken hip and attacked his son who was standing nearby. Samson chilled out a bit after hip surgery but he is still the alpha of my pack of 7 dogs, and that may be why Ginger ran off with him in October when I didn't think she was in full heat because she showed no interest in any of Samson's sons who live in the house with her and my other two females.

Her name is Kana and she is great. She is growing up to be a good little girl. She knows how to sit, lay and give her paw. She is a wild child but her energy is great.
