I'm Tasha P., the breeder behind Castarek's Siberians located in Ossipee, NH. We are a sport kennel striving to be racing professionally within the next couple of years. We value Siberians who fit AKC standards, have the drive to work in harness, strong structure/build, healthy/free of genetic diseases, intelligent, have a fun friendly personality, and an even temperament.
Q. & A. with Tasha
Why did you start breeding?
We don't have a lot of litters and we focus on matching the best suitable mates based on health, pedigrees, temperament, ability, and structure. We plan litters that have the potential to add to our kennel in the future, which means we get the first pick(s) of every litter. We work very hard to socialize our puppies and try to use Puppy Culture techniques to help raise our pups to be more confident, friendly, and independent.
What makes your program special?
We use Puppy Culture techniques and test them daily from 4-8 weeks for temperament, drive, and performance. The puppies live inside with us until they are 6 weeks old and they are then moved out to the puppy den to get more exposure and socialization. We also offer lifetime breeder support and a health guarantee. We love our dogs and want the very best for them and their forever families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
