I'm Sarah M., the breeder behind Central Kentucky Basset Hounds located in Mount Olivet, KY. Our dogs are bred for their genetical features, health and loving temperaments. We offer American and European bloodlines.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with my first pair of basset babies. Their long ears, chunky feet, soulful eyes and calm temperament. Basset hounds are literally the best family pets so I wanted to continue sharing this breed with a qualified bloodline.
What makes your program special?
All babies are socialized with children, cats, other canines, and in public settings.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
