I'm Hannah L., the breeder behind Chaotis German Shepherds located in Sargeant, MN. We strive to produce dogs of extreme intelligence, work ethic and health. Finding a show dog that can work is equivalent to finding a needle in a hay stack these days. Well, we found it and are doing our best to enhance the breed! Our dogs actively compete in schutzhund and serve as service dogs.
Q. & A. with Hannah
Why did you start breeding?
I have had German Shepherds by my side from birth. My parents had a small breeding program during my school years and I was 110% involved in it. I spent all my free time on a deployment hunting for my foundation male.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is a rare find. Finding west german show lines that can legitimately work is almost unheard of. Our dogs are proven and actively work in the USA. They are specifically selected for their working qualities and stable temperaments. That working drive paired with health testing(embark, SV) and conformation deliver what we believe to be the perfect example of a GSD.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
