Meet the breeder

I'm Kristin S., the breeder behind Cherry Blossom Doodles located in Ashland, OH. My husband, our two babies and I live on a beautiful farm. We love animals and the outdoors. I have a long background of breeding dogs in my family. Troy and I began our own breeding journey back in 2021. We love having pups in our home, caring for them and raising them to be the best companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I come from a large family network of very high quality dog breeders. Many of my family members breed high end dogs. So it was something that I was educated on and passionate about since I was a teenager. I started dipping my toes in into breeding during graduate school when I delivered pups for a breeder.
What makes your program special?
Several things make us stand out. I’ll just list 2 of them. #1 The pups are well socialized with a large variety of people and animals before they go home, including small children and babies. #2 they spend as much time as possible outside exposed to the world. We have a large farm so when the pups are old enough, they are permitted to “free run” once a day where we teach boundaries and follow us.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristin

Kristin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kristin partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies can be reserved at birth with the understanding that their temperament can vary. Once vaccinated, at 6 weeks, the puppies can receive visitors to our home to match folks in person or via video call. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes up to date deworming, 1st round of vaccines, vet health check, health record, baggie of familiar food, stuffed toy/ blanket that smells like their mommy, puppy collar, 1 year health guarantee. Deposits are nonrefundable and required to hold the puppy until pick up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kristin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Bolt
Bolt is a tricolored border collie. He is eager to learn, obedient and very affectionate. He is protective, but not overly vocal. He loves being outside, being with his family, sunbathing and going on long runs. Bolt is extremely intelligent and was very easy to train. He has brought immense joy to our home.

Sky is a gentle, loyal and confident companion. She loves to run, and boy is she fast! She is always ready to play but appreciates a good nap outside in the shade. She loves being groomed, taking swims, and riding in the car. She is independent and easy going.
