I'm Rebecca & Devin L., the breeder behind ChibiChi located in Space Coast, FL. We are an AKC & CKC breeder that focus on apple head Chihuahuas. We breed for gentle temperament. They are born and lovingly raised at home just like any lifelong companion. There is frequent, friendly interaction with family, friends, and other dogs to build positive socialization.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I am mentored by my grandma who has been breeding Chihuahuas for decades and as of 2024, I am carrying on the torch with my partner, Devin. We have learned a lot not only about the babies but also ourselves, as our life passion is in raising and loving our Chihuahuas.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program's focus is on mild-mannered and affectionate Chihuahuas. On top of adhering to breed standard, we are interested in cultivating an inherently curious and social line that just want to be held and loved at all times.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable spotted white, chocolate, cream, fawn, black sabled fawn, blue, blue brindled fawn, blue fawn, chocolate sabled fawn, silver, white, fawn and white, cream and white, red and white, and chocolate and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Rebecca was a true joy to work with. I reached out about Ollie after I saw he was exactly what I was looking for. She gave me updates on his progress, helped me schedule travel (she came to us in Philly), and made sure he was up to date on vaccines (which she didn't have to because it would've been his three month but she took care of it for me so he was perfectly healthy and ready). Another thing is Ollie had/has a hernia and she made sure I was fully aware of this, plus his hesitation with big dogs (not an issue for me, as I only have another senior Chihuahua). This couldn't have been a better relationship and I'm not just blowing smoke. I've kept in contact with her over the months and shared Ollie's growth and she's shared tips and tricks on anything I may have had issues with. If you can buy from her, do it. She's truly an ethical breeder, who loves these dogs are much as you do/will.
