Lucy has OFA Fair hips and Normal elbows and has received protection training. Lucy demonstrates strong working drives, solid nerve, and a stable temperament with a clear on/off switch. She is capable of serious work while remaining calm and well-behaved in the home. She is confident, athletic, and environmentally stable, showing the traits expected from working-line Belgian Malinois. Lucy is out of Max (Rivera) and Gala (Rivera) and carries a pedigree that includes several notable working dogs such as Cartouche (BRN 36067), Jaguar (Jaramillo), Elliot du Bois des Trembles, Voltaires des Bergers d’Ecouve, Atos du Banc des Hermelles, and Henk of Barking Stars. Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
