I'm Christina V., the breeder behind Christina's German Shepherds located in Medford, NJ. Our West German Show Line puppies come from health-tested, AKC-registered parents with exceptional imported bloodlines. Each puppy is raised in our home with lots of love, daily handling, early socialization, and exposure to everyday life.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for German Shepherds and their intelligence, loyalty, and incredible temperaments inspired us to begin breeding. We wanted to raise puppies with the same qualities we value in our own dogs while focusing on health, temperament, structure, and finding each puppy a loving lifelong home.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised right in our home and receive individual attention, daily handling, early socialization, and exposure to everyday life. We carefully select health-tested parents with strong temperaments and proven bloodlines, with the goal of producing healthy, confident German Shepherds.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Christina
Christina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Christina partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We take a lot of care in making sure each puppy goes to the right family. As their personalities and temperaments start to develop, we get to know each puppy individually and help match them with the family that will be the best fit, typically around 8 weeks of age.”
Price
“The price includes AKC registration paperwork, dame and sire OFA clear, a veterinary health examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, routine deworming, the first round of flea and tick prevention and heartworm prevention, early puppy socialization, and a puppy starter packet. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of size or color.”

Christina has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
