Welcome to our Japanese Spitz family in the heart of Alabama! 🐾 We are dedicated to raising the "little comedians" of the dog world—Japanese Spitz puppies that are as intelligent and loyal as they are fluffy. Our breeding program is built on a foundation of love, where every one of our dogs is a cherished family member living right alongside us in our home. What sets our puppies apart is their unique early : Our pups are raised under the guidance of our own certified therapy dog, learning from the best how to be calm, intuitive, and gentle companions. Intergenerational Socialization: We take our puppies to visit senior living communities, where they learn to interact politely with people of all ages. These visits help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adults who are ready for any adventure. Loved from Birth: We pour our hearts into every puppy, cherishing them from their very first breath until the day they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! Our goal is to provide Alabama families with healthy, happy Japanese Spitz who are ready to become the center of your world.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    The Japanese Spitz is still relatively rare in the U.S.. We wanted to help responsible families access healthy, well-socialized puppies that meet the high standards of this "hidden gem" breed. Wonderful temperament and starting socialization early—like our visits to senior living communities—we could provide more families with that same level of intuitive companionship.

  • What makes your program special?

    Every puppy is a member of our family first. They are born in our living space, meaning they are already used to the sounds of a real home—vacuums, television, and daily chatter—long before they arrive at your door. By the time our puppies leave us, they aren't just pets; they are balanced, intuitive companions who have already learned how to bring comfort and joy to the people around them

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Heather

Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Heather partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Your puppy will have a full physical exam by a licensed veterinarian and will be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. Will be UKC registered. To help with the transition, we include a "scent item"—like a comfort toy that smells like their mother and littermates. Puppy food.”

Contract & health guarantee

Heather may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
