I'm Shannon H., the breeder behind Clarksville Doodles located in Clarksville, TN. A family-owned business who loves raising & working with puppies. We use Puppy Culture & Karen Pryor puppy kindergarten certified. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.
Q. & A. with Shannon
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and wanted to experience them from newborns. Before breeding, I did a lot of research and found many homes for the lives I was bringing into the world. I truly loved it and it became a passion of mine. I saw many friends bringing home unhealthy puppies and I knew I wanted to make a difference!
What makes your program special?
Our program is special for many reasons. We are always striving to learn and continuing our education. We not only make sure our puppies are fed healthy foods, but we do a lot of work on socializing. We spend a lot of hours a day tending to our pups. From cleaning pens, playing with puppies, petting them, and working on training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
