I'm Hannah C., the breeder behind Claymore Mastiffs located in Adrian, MO. Hi! My name is Hannah and I am the face behind Claymore Mastiffs. I've been involved in the breed my entire life. I started out with my childhood Mastiff Lily and was her handler for therapy work. The obsession spiraled from there. I adore this breed and strive to produce not only temperamentally and structurally sound dogs, but dogs who have working ability as well. Draft work, obedience, property guardians, agility, waterfowl retrieval, lurecoursing, we like to dabble in a bit of everything!
Q. & A. with Hannah
Why did you start breeding?
My parents started breeding Mastiffs when I was young. After my younger sister was born she was diagnosed with a slew of health problems and soon after they stopped and we owned Mastiffs as pets, therapy dogs, and working farm dogs after that.
What makes your program special?
Balance. I am a big stickler for balance not only in conformation but in mind as well. I strive to produce well rounded dogs who can thrive in any situation thrown their way.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, fawn, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
