Meet the breeder

I'm Alysha N., the breeder behind Clear Ridge German Shepherds located in Pennsylvania. We breed quality, health tested German Shepherds with stable temperaments, correct confirmation, and the ability to fit beautifully into family life as well as compete in sports, succeed in SAR, and/or excel in therapy work. We offer a variety of coat colors, patterns and lengths. Please contact us with any requests or questions.

Q. & A. with Alysha

  • Why did you start breeding?

I decided to start breeding after living through & hearing about many terrible dog owning experiences from owning dogs with poor health, confirmation & unstable temperaments. I wanted to be able to give families level headed, trainable, healthy dogs they can truly enjoy. No one needs the extra stress of owning an unstable dog or one with a genetic condition which could’ve been bred away from.
  • What makes your program special?

I feel my breeding program is worth noting because I genuinely care about my dogs, their pups, & the families they go to. Having 10 years experience as a search & rescue professional has given me experience in training various dogs and assessing their capabilities. I feel that I am well suited to help match families with a pup that fits their life. I am very upfront & honest about my program.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, bi-color, isabella, black and red, black and cream, black and silver, black and tan, blue, liver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
