We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. Getting a puppy from Megan
Megan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price guarantee vet checked all appropriate shots and wormed every 2 weeks before leaving our home at 8 weeks. We ask 200 deposit to hold puppy after they are born and are 2 weeks of age.”
Contract & health guarantee
Megan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA), Gonioscopy
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

We have purchased two Bassett Hound puppies from Megan @ Clevenger Farms. We really wanted a dog that would be a great family dog, a loving, easygoing, sweet, and silly dog. The Bassett Hound breed checked all the boxes. We got our first puppy from Megan in January of 2023. He was so absolutely perfect, and Megan was so easy to work with that we were excited to see that she had posted a new litter later on that year. We decided to get another puppy from her and this puppy, once again, is absolutely perfect. I am convinced that Bassett Hounds are the best family dog. If you are on the fence, knowing that you are buying from a trusted breeder who has the best puppies should put your mind at ease.

My husband told me he was getting me a puppy for Valentines day. So when I started looking & saw this puppy that had a heart shaped mark on her head and that she was named Valentine I knew right then and there she was the one. I’ve always wanted a girl Basset Hound so it was perfect all the way around. I contacted Megan and she responded right away. She was very informative about all my questions and without hesitation we reserved the puppy that day. Miss Valentine was only a month old so we had to wait a month to get her but Megan sent photos and videos several times and kept us updated. I definitely recommend working with her, she is amazing and attentive. I knew Valentine was in good hands. Thank you so much for everything we are all very happy. As I write this we are all enjoying watching our new puppy sleep. 😆 We kept the name she was given as a second name too, Thumper Valentine 🥰

+8This has been the absolute best process in finding a puppy for our family and I can’t speak highly enough about Megan! She went above and beyond with every aspect. We had multiple text and phone conversations making sure everything went smoothly, she spent time sending videos considering we lived in a different state so we could make the perfect choice, and was very personable! I truly feel like I gained a friend in the process and we have the puppy of our dreams! Another added bonus which has been a huge blessing and has made potty training a breeze is our puppy came trained using a doggy door and where we don’t have a doggy door she still since day 1 has gone to the door and let us know when she needs to go out! I love how well socialized our puppy was, she just got home and fit right in! I am so grateful I stumbled upon Megan’s profile she is a very reputable breeder, such a sweet person, and I would 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a basset hound puppy to consider her litters!
