Labradoodle
About Josie
Josie is a labradoodle she is a red merle who melted my heart the very first time I saw her. She is extremely intelligent and loyal. She has bonded with me and follows me everywhere I go. She is also never damaged even a single thing in the house or on the property. She is healthy and our Veterinarian gave us the nod to breed her if we wanted to. She is such a fantastic dog, I became interested in breeding her to allow others to hopefully be able to enjoy a dog of their own like my Josie. Not all dogs are created equal, luckily I have just had positive experiences but I do have friends who were unfortunate enough to purchase a dog that was a handful for one reason or another. Not my Jo, she is perfect and I am not the only one who thinks so. Anyone who comes to the farm and meets her falls in love as well. I always get comments when I am out in public with her, especially when she was a puppy. I have had people turn their cars around and ask what kind of dog she is and state she is the cutest dog they have ever seen. Doodles are great dogs as well because of their low to non-shedding tendencies. I had a black lab previously and she shed A LOT. I loved her to death and she was a great dog as well but I do not miss the dog hair all over everything one bit. I also love how doodles appearances slowly change as their hair grows out between trims. My lab pretty much always looked the same. I thank the lord I was put in the position to acquire a dog as special as my Jo Jo and I am confident if her puppies even have a fraction of what Josie does you will fall in love with them too. Now that she has had a litter I can also tell you she is a great mother. She loves to dote on her pups and she made the first month of this process a breeze. She loves the water and loves to go out on my boat, she goes crazy when I turn the boat off and she knows we are taking a break to swim. Somehow she just knows, she will goofily bound to the back of the boat and down to the swim platform where she loves to slip into the water. Her focus and calm personality are a big part of my draw to her. She has so many positive traits I could go on and on. She instinctively fetches as do her puppies. She loves to do laps around our pastures, this is how I exercise the dogs on the farm. Somehow they know when I am working versus playing and she only starts laps when I am well on my way. I think a lot of this is related to the fact she prefers to be around me regardless of what I am doing. I am so pleased I decided to have a litter of pups with Jo because even at and well before 8 weeks I can tell they are all little Jo's. We as people honestly do not deserve dogs, I do not know what I would do without her.
