I'm Jess P., the breeder behind Cold Creek Doodles located in Pahrump, NV. Our breeding dogs are Embark breed & genetic health tested & thoroughly evaluated before joining our program. We believe in quality over quantity & raise our puppies in a busy, loving home where they are well socialized, sound desensitized, & exposed to children, dogs, cats, and new people.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding in 2008 after seeing how much early environment and intentional pairing affect a dog’s temperament and long-term wellbeing. As a mom, I was drawn to raising dogs in a family setting, focusing on stability, health, and producing companions that truly fit into real homes. I fell in love with the goldendoodle breed & the rest is history!What makes your program special?
Our program is intentionally small and temperament-focused. Breeding dogs are Embark breed and genetic health tested and carefully evaluated. Puppies are home-raised using ENS, ESI, and Puppy Culture–inspired socialization, with a strong emphasis on confidence and adaptability. We prioritize quality over quantity and offer lifetime breeder support.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jess
Jess has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jess partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched as buyers are screened and approved. Temperaments and personalities are assessed by 6/7 weeks old. "
Price
"Our puppies are priced between $1,500–$3,000. Price includes vaccinations, deworming, a veterinary health exam, early socialization, one year genetic health guarantee & lifetime breeder support. A $500 deposit & signed contract are required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable unless the breeder is unable to provide a healthy puppy."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Gravy
Gravy is a gorgeous girl. She has the perfect temperament & is a prime example of what a goldendoodle should be. She is professionally trained and knows lots of tricks. She adores children and other animals. Her best friend is a cat named Rocket. Gravy is 28 pounds and very active. She enjoys going for runs and will play fetch for hours on end. Every time she goes to the Vet, everyone comments on how well behaved and polite she is. We are so proud of how Gravy has turned out & are looking forward to meeting her beautiful babies this Spring!

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
