Meet the breeder

I'm Jen W., the breeder behind Colorado Japanese Spitz located in Littleton, CO. With respect for the pure-breed standards, we work closely to place a puppy after carefully evaluating pedigrees and DNA. Our goal is a placement that not only excel in physical but also possess excellent temperaments, making them ideal companions. We are also involved in rescue/breeds preservation.

Q. & A. with Jen

  • Why did you start breeding?

By combining traditional Japanese breeding expertise with modern genetic testing and a passion for canine excellence, we strive to produce puppies that bring joy and companionship while preserving the integrity of the breed. Dogs have been human companions for thousands of years, and it's natural to wonder why we don't focus on enhancing their pedigree to make them the best companions possible
  • What makes your program special?

Together with the Japanese kennel club's, we work closely with their expert team to select superior but rare breeding pedigree, carefully evaluating the parents, conformation, and performance. Our goal is to create puppies that not only excel in physical characteristics but also possess excellent temperaments, making them ideal companions for discerning dog owners.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
