Why did you start breeding?
Being in CO I found myself not being able to find a puppy after my Cristal passed. I've brought myself one of my sires from Italy, dams from Spain and Canada, all with Champion bloodlines. What you want in a puppy is a clean health record and good references from the breeder. In my opinion a health history of the parents and the off springs is what matters. In all my years of breeding, my dogs have stayed healthy the same as their babies, my dogs come from different gene pools, countries, NO inbreeding. Many pups are over 10 years old and counting.
