Meet the breeder

I'm Jaclyn B., the breeder behind Columbia River Cockapoos located in Hermiston, OR. We are a small, family run, ethical breeding program focused on multigenerational miniature and toy Cockapoos. Along the Columbia River in a simple Oregonian town known for its watermelons, we are down to earth, yet extremely passionate about producing outstanding Cockapoo companions.

Q. & A. with Jaclyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Depression has affected me for most my life. I was working at our kids' elementary school when the anti-depression meds I was on strangely took away most of my vision. I had to quit my job and the meds. My vision returned thankfully! As an alternative to medications, I got my first Cockapoo, Lottie. She changed my life! I am beyond grateful to help bring this joy to others' lives now!
  • What makes your program special?

Canine genetics fascinates me and is essential to the goal of our program. Each doggy mom and dad has been genetic health tested. Breedings are thoughtfully paired to continue lines that are excellent in health, temperament, trainability, resilience, confidence and companionship. We produce two exclusive litters a year, allowing pups an abundance of individual care and affection.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Cockapoo puppies include tiny, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include merle, red, apricot, brown, black, blenheim, black and white, tri-color, chocolate, black and tan, and sable. Cockapoo puppies include merle, brown and white, brown and tan, brown, black white and tan, black and white, black and tan, black, sable and white, sable, red and white, red, golden, and brown white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
