I'm Tim F., the breeder behind Combat Creek German Shepherds located in Barnhart, MO. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Three years ago we bred Bullmastiffs, after losing our female we decided that chapter had closed for us. After a year or so our family decided we wanted to get another family pet and we decided on our boy Ripley. It was the best decision we ever made because of his temperament, loyalty and love for our children. He is much more than just our pet, he is our boy and part of our family. Ripley is a beautiful old fashion straight back long coat GSD who has passed his Embark testing as well as OFA, because of this we decided to give breeding another go round.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tim

Tim has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tim partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes limited AKC registration, deworming at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks as well as first vet visit and vaccinations at 7 weeks old. ***Full registration (breeding rights) can be discussed for terms and extra cost***. $300.00 upfront non refundable deposit to hold a puppy.”

Tim may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    I am eager to share our story about Combat Creek Shepherds.. Finding a breeder that is trustworthy and educational is hard to find when looking for your perfect puppy. We just happened to find Combat Creek Shepherds by luck and luck turned into a great respect and bond with Tim and Arah. Communication was always responded to immediately , no matter when or what questions we had in regards to our puppy. We never expected to watch our little guy grow through those weeks prior to coming home , but Arah made it impossible not to fall in love with him long before his arrival date was set. We had the best experience watching him grow through pictures and videos and via email or text Being a 4th owner of a Shepherd, we had such an advantage over previous pups we purchased in the past due to technology and the dedication Tim and Arah put forth. Watching the birth of Bruno via video was so exciting and emotional. I was enthralled at all the hard work and patience it takes to bring those little fur babies into the world. It was comforting to know our puppy Bruno was being loved and all his needs were being met prior to his grand appearance into our home. Its not easy taking care of momma shep and her entire litter and for that I commend Combat Creek. When it was time for us to get our little guy, he came home clean and very healthy looking. It was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a good well acclimated healthy puppy who's been loved, kissed on and clearly all needs were met give these guys a hollar. You wont regret it.

    We were thrilled to find that Combat Creek had a litter specifically breed for optimal health and temperament that aligned with our summer-off-from-teaching schedule. Our precious Willow arrived yesterday and has transitioned well to her new home.
