Our breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to Otterhounds while striving to produce puppies of superior health and temperament.
Q. & A. with Ron/Cindy
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with a deep appreciation for the Otterhound standard and a desire to contribute positively to the breed's future. By focusing on genetic diversity, comprehensive health testing, and early socialization, we strive to produce puppies that not only conform to the breed standard but are also equipped to live long, healthy, and happy lives with their families."
What makes your program special?
For us, breeding is a labor of love. We are committed to producing healthy, well-socialized puppies that will bring as much happiness to their new families as our girls Darby, Lizzie and Ruby brought to ours. We are proud of our dogs and their puppies, and it is always our goal to preserve and better the breed with each litter. We are always available to answer questions and offer support long after a puppy has gone to its new home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
