I'm Caroline C., the breeder behind Copestone Whippets located in Walterboro, SC. My goal is to produce structurally sound dogs with exceptional temperament. Only dogs with these attributes are used for breeding. I hope to share my passion for Whippets by channeling the years of experience from my mentor and the breeding combinations of top dogs, to produce Whippets with exceptional breed type and phenomenal temperments.
Q. & A. with Caroline
Why did you start breeding?
I began through a mentor who has over 50 years of experience in the breed. I purchased a pet Whippet only to fall in love with the breed and started showing in AKC conformation. This led to a great friendship and mentorship.
What makes your program special?
I have dogs from a long line of healthy dogs as a foundation. I health test and spend a great deal of time raising exceptional puppies that succeed in pet, performance, or show homes.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
