I'm Mary G., the breeder behind Corazon de Leon Leonbergers located in Perry County, PA. My focus is on excellence in every aspect of my breeding program. I offer top-quality puppies for loving family homes. I am purposeful in everything that I do regarding my dogs, which includes careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with Leonbergers at first sight! I started breeding so that I not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, longevity, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Mary
Mary has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $2,000 deposit and $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC registration, microchip, one set of puppy vaccinations and appropriate worming. Rear dew claws will be removed if they have them. All puppies are the same price regardless of sex or show quality. I don't take deposits until the litter is at least 3 days old so I'll know the number of each sex I have and the deposits are due when the litter is 3 weeks old. If I don't have a puppy that will fit your home then you'll get a refund.”

Mary may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Polyneuropathy 3, Leonberger and Saint Bernard Type
