Q. & A. with Georgina
Why did you start breeding?
I imported my bitch from Europe for breeding purposes at some point. The question was when was the right time. I guess the time is now.
What makes your program special?
Both parents are of European descent with full pedigrees and have been shown in the confirmation ring. They both have been fully tested and clear of any illnesses. No carriers. Perfect DNA. They have passed all the OFA requirements.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are gray and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

It's difficult to articulate the emotions that surface when bidding farewell to a cherished puppy you've delivered, nurtured, and watched flourish over several weeks. On the other hand, it's truly reassuring when, shortly after the new family departs, you're sent a heartwarming photo of the puppy thriving in its new home. ❤️

Georgina is incredibly knowledgeable about the breed (Old English Sheepdog) and our puppy from her is doing great. Georgina obviously cares tremendously about dogs, OES, healthy and happy pups, and the proper care and breeding of OES. We would highly recommend her and Cotufas for anyone looking for an OES.
Georgina took a generous amount of time to meet with us and answer questions as we first met our puppy and decided on Cotufas and Millie (ne Spezi). Her family joined the discussion, they were all great and shared their experience with the litter, their advice for raising puppies and dogs, and it was clear our puppy spent her first 3 months in a warm family environment in their home.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
