I'm Alison T., the breeder behind Country Lane Goldendoodles located in Portage, MI. Our mini Goldendoodle Kenzie is a priceless member of our family and we love being able to raise her puppies. The puppies are raised in our home and are picked up, loved, and played with every day. Sending the puppies to homes that will love them as much as we do is the most important part of raising the puppies, and we matching our puppies with families that match the individual personalities.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
