I'm Tricia S., the breeder behind Country Trail Pups located in Lancaster, MN. My breeding journey began in 2018 with Scarlet, and guidance from an experienced breeder. Our puppies are home-raised with hands-on care, socialization, grooming early training. I study each puppy's temperament to guide family matches, while my love for Jesus leads all I do.

Why did you start breeding?
After health challenges ended my 20-year cosmetology career, I searched for meaningful work I could do from home. My breeding journey began in 2018 with my first mama, Scarlet. An experienced breeder mentored me in whelping, newborn care, puppy development, and responsible practices. I quickly discovered a true passion for raising puppies and guiding families to the right companion.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies receive hands-on care, socialization, sound exposure, grooming, enrichment, and early kennel and potty-training foundations. I observe temperament to help families find the right match-not simply choose by color. Families receive preparation guidance and continued support after go-home day. My love for Jesus guides me to serve with honesty, kindness, compassion and integrity.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are miniature size. Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are red. Goldendoodle puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tricia

Tricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tricia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Families choose their puppy in deposit order. Around six weeks of age, I share each puppy's personality and temperament to help every family select the puppy that best fits their home, lifestyle and preferences. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot on the general waitlist. The remaining $2,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“Price includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, micro chipped, vet check, health guarantee, vet records, a go home bag with goodies of food, treats, blanket that smells like mama and more. The deposit is non-refundable but does not expire. You can stay on it as long as it takes to find your perfect pup or the perfect timing.”

Contract & health guarantee

Tricia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
