Meet the breeder

I'm Greg W., the breeder behind Country View Ridgebacks located in Dodgeville, WI. For nearly a decade, Country View Ridgebacks has consistently bred top-quality dogs who have gone on to loving homes (we've had at least one champion). Our goal is to breed healthy dogs with excellent temperaments, who will easily adjust to your household.

Q. & A. with Greg

  • Why did you start breeding?

After learning about Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we decided they might be a good fit for our active family. Our Ridgeback Piper quickly became another family member and we realized how fun, loving, affectionate and loyal these dogs can be as pets - they make great family dogs! We decided to get into breeding to share this unique dog with other families like ours.
  • What makes your program special?

Since our dogs live in our house as pets, they breed in a safe, loving, environment with top care from our in-house veterinarian! They get to cuddle on the couch, run in the fields, play with the family and have a happy, full life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are rd whtn blk nose. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
