I'm Christa A., the breeder behind Crowders Creek Doodles located in Gastonia, NC. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament and raised from birth in our home. They are exposed to early stimulation and a variety of scenarios to ensure that they develop great temperaments and can transition to your home smoothly.
Q. & A. with Christa
Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the breed five years ago when we adopted our first doodle Annie. My kids enjoyed taking care of her as a puppy so much that we decided we wanted more puppies in our home. So I decided to research breeding and combine the best of both worlds. We are able to raise puppies year round and also watch them find their forever homes.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family pets and we work together as a family to ensure that each pup receives love, care and early training so that they reach their full potential when they transition to your home. We are committed to health and quality in every aspect of the breeding process.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, red, black, phantom, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Christa was communicative throughout the entire process and provided lots of information. She never hesitated to answer any of my questions. My puppy came home and adjusted quickly. He loves the outdoors thanks to Christa exposing them early on, and he’s very used to noise—nothing seems to make him nervous. I’m most impressed with how well he was crate trained; I haven’t had a single issue since day one.
I highly recommend Christa to anyone looking for a well-cared-for and confident puppy!
