I'm James F., the breeder behind Crystal Coast Cavapoodles located in Newport, NC. We are a loving, family-centered home of five, living right next door to our parents—yes, we literally share a fence! Together, our two households have created the perfect environment for raising happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies. In our home, we have a handsome male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and just over the fence, our parents have a beautiful female miniature/toy Poodle. With lots of love and excellent care, they’ve produced the sweetest Cavapoodles—affectionate, intelligent, and perfect for families. Our puppies are raised in a nurturing environment surrounded by children, daily activity, and plenty of affection.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Our journey into breeding began when a close friend—who had been breeding for years—shared with us how rewarding it was. Hearing their experiences, seeing the joy their puppies brought to families, and watching the care they put into every litter truly inspired us. With their guidance and support along the way, we decided to begin our own small, family-based breeding adventure.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is truly a family effort. We’re a loving family of five who share a fence with our parents—so our dogs grow up surrounded by two connected households full of love, activity, and plenty of helping hands. Every puppy is handled daily, exposed to family life, and cared for as part of our home from the very beginning. We focus on health, temperament, and giving each puppy the best possible start before they join their forever families. What truly sets us apart is the warmth and togetherness behind our program!

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from James

    I had a wonderful experience working with Crystal Coast Cavapoodles! When I inquired about one of their puppies they responded that same night. We set up a zoom call and I was able to meet both the breeders and my puppy. Purchasing her was simple and they sent me photos regularly so I could see her. They work with their puppies to get them used to socializing, potty training, and grooming. My puppy Stevie had a sweet temperament and is a little cuddly girl!
