Q. & A. with Artha

  • Why did you start breeding?

Dogs have always been part of my life. As a child, my family imported Red Heelers from Australia to Canada. Later, while raising my own kids, we had a couple of litters of Shih Tzu puppies. as life got busier, we paused breeding-but now, as empty nesters, it felt like the perfect time to bring dogs and puppies back into our lives on a lager scale. And we're absolutely loving it.

  • What makes your program special?

We raise each pup with care, using science based curriculum & love with real-life experiences to build confident, well-rounded companions. We match each pup to the right family and focus on health and temperament. Our pups come with a 1-year genetic health guarantee and 1 month free pet insurance. We are honored we have therapy, service and emotional support dogs among our puppy families. joy!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Cavapoo puppies include tri-color, red, cream, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Artha was a wonderful partner in our search for fur babies to join our family. We had a tragedy and lost two of our puppies in a house fire so we had a high bar for what we wanted with our pups and a breeder. I really enjoyed working with Artha, as she had great instincts and helped us navigate logistics very seamlessly. In the end we adopted 2 and we are very happy with our new family members.

We had a great experience working with Artha. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and all of our questions were answered promptly. Alfie came home clean, well socialized, and already comfortable with people, his crate, and everyday household sounds. It was clear he had been handled with care from an early age. We also appreciated receiving his health records, food, and transition information, which made bringing him home much easier. Alfie has been a wonderful addition to our family. He’s affectionate, smart, playful, and has a sweet personality. We’re looking forward to watching him continue to grow. Thank you, Artha, for helping us find such a great companion!

Artha was amazing to work with. She helped us get prepped for Astro’s transition to our home, and answered all my questions super quickly. I was never worried about our meetup plans or whether I would have her support. So glad to be part of the curls & camo puppy fam! Thanks so much, Artha!

Artha was great to work with when considering a breeder. She was incredibly responsive and sent tons of photos and videos, as well as provided updated vaccine records and some food and toys for our girl when we brought her home. She’s such a sweet pup and you can tell she was well cared for before we took her home.

Artha was fantastic to work with. She is knowledgeable, kind, and flexible. This process was made seamless by her dedication. Our sweet girl, Tipsy, is adjusting well to being at home and we have Artha to thank! Tipsy is so smart, cuddly, sassy, and really just a ball of fun. I could not recommend Curls and Camo pups more!
