Meet the breeder

I'm April R., the breeder behind Curlydoodles located in Taneytown, MD. We are a Mini Goldendoodle breeder and raise intelligent, loving, and playful puppies. Our passion for this breed is exhibited in each pup that leaves us for their forever home. We only use health tested parents (OFA and genetics). We are a member of G.A.N.A. in good standings.

Q. & A. with April

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up on a small farm. My grandparents had bred toy poodles. Animal care runs in my blood. I was president of our 4H club for many years and exibited animals and crafts. After marriage and raising a family I found I had the time to dedicate to breeding. So in 2012 I purchased my first doodle for breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small and responsible breeder. Our puppies are loved and cared for from day one until they leave for their new home. We are looking for owners who can provide a lifetime of security and happiness for each of our puppies. Please reach out if you feel you are a good fit for one of our dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
