Q. & A. with Serina

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I got my first Irish Setter, Ember; her breeder encouraged me to consider breeding after hearing how passionate I was about my animals. It was something I thought about but never pursued- until about two years later when she gifted me Ember's mother to whelp my first litter and start my own kennel. I had amazing mentors to help me through it all, and through the process I learned so much, including how much I loved being able to set puppies up for success and the joy I found in providing people their dream dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to keep my focus on temperament and health, highlighting the wonderful nature of the breed. I am passionate about my dogs and my program, and am very proud of the dogs I produce. I stay as involved as possible in their lives, considering their owners as a part of my family, and offering support and guidance as needed.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
