We purchased our sweet Goldendoodle from Dawn this past month. She was VERY quick to respond and very informative. Our puppy has a sweet, sassy and fun demeanor and has made the perfect addition to our family. I believe Dawns background in grooming and her knowledge of dogs played a big part in how easily our puppy adjusted to a house with two children. So grateful we found her!

As a veterinarian and a service member, I’m mindful of how important early socialization and temperament are in a dog’s development. While I cannot formally endorse breeders, I want to share my personal experience working with Dawn’s Doodles and how it shaped the start of life for my dog, Churro. From the beginning, Dawn was responsive and informative. She regularly sent video updates showing how the littermates interacted with one another and with their parents. Communication was thoughtful, and all my questions were welcomed and answered in a timely manner. Initially, I had selected one of Churro’s littermates. However, during a follow-up conversation at pick-up time, Dawn suggested that Churro might be a better fit for me in terms of temperament and potential adult size. I appreciated the insight and flexibility—and Dawn was right. Churro has been an amazing match. Born in early 2025, Churro arrived clearly well-loved and emotionally secure. On his first day with me, he stayed right by my side as I walked the perimeter of our yard—off leash. Within a day, he was walking calmly on leash and picking up basic commands like “sit” and “stop” with minimal effort. He’s affectionate, intuitive, and a fast learner. He goes nearly everywhere with me. At four months old, I took him for a walk alongside a 9-month-old puppy of another breed who also hadn’t had leash training. The difference was remarkable—Churro stayed at my side while the other dog nearly pulled its handler over. That owner even commented how well Churro was doing and noted it was obvious Dawn had worked with the puppies early on. Churro is scheduled to begin adult obedience and service training later this year. Should the need arise, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Dawn’s Doodles again. Dawn still checks in from time to time to see how Churro is doing, which says a lot about the care and connection she maintains with her dogs and their new families.
