Dawn's Highland Scots

Meet the breeder

I'm Dawn M., the breeder behind Dawn's Highland Scots located in Saylorsburg, PA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

Q. & A. with Dawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our Westie breeding program goal is to produce quality working dogs with sound structure & sound minds. Our dogs are contenders in the show ring, while retaining all those much desired working qualities.
  • What makes your program special?

Adopting puppies from us is not a quick process; it's a lot like adopting a child. We require families to do at least two interviews before we make a decision, because it is important to us to ensure that the people and puppy are the perfect fit for each other.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
