Meet the breeder

I'm Michelle C., the breeder behind Dawson Hollow Catahoulas located in Cordova, TN. Our goal is to produce dogs balanced in temperament and health that can succeed in the show ring, field, or performance setting. We are an in-home program where our dogs are our companions first and foremost. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.

Q. & A. with Michelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

After being involved in the show and trial world, and gaining much insight into the Catahoula breed as a whole, I became interested in testing and later breeding my foundation dogs, Mason and Darla.
  • What makes your program special?

I try to incorporate all aspects of the breed into my dogs - performance, work, conformation, with the off switch to be able to exist in the house between training and events.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppies are examined by an independent veterinarian before joining their forever families. Puppies are microchipped, have BAER testing and age-appropriate vaccinations prior to going to their owners. Puppy deposit is not due until picks are made around 6 weeks.”
