Shontay has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Shontay partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“If you come visit us, we will puppy match by asking you what you need. We will select 3 puppies that fit that criteria. From there, you make the final selection on your puppy!”

“All puppies are priced between $400-$1000 depending on the pedigree potential and litter cost.”
Shontay may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Shontay offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Shontay directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Shontay.

About Rube
Rube is one of a kind. He bays his name every time he sees us and he gets excited seeing the tracking collars head to the truck. Rube is wonderful with children and at 11 years old, he still enjoys running in night hunts. Rube is a wonderful addition to our kennel as the last remaining son of the number one historical cross out of Hatchie River Dottie and Main Street Jack.

About Raven
Raven is our hunt bred female. She is off the Wicked Vapor and Hardtime Crow’s Jewel. Raven is a sweetheart, she loves being a house dog and often smiles when we talk to her. She enjoys sleeping on the couch or bed, and recently has found motivation to tree raccoons. Raven took 2 years to mature, and I expect her puppies will need extra time as well.

About Magnolia
Magnolia is the daughter of our foundation girl, Mia. Her sire is Splitcreek’s Poseidon. She loves tracking and treeing raccoons in the woods. Magnolia is often called Maggie for short, and she will be 2 in April 2026. At this time there are no litters planned for her.

About Mia
Mia is our foundation girl. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old. She is more then a coonhound for us. Though she can hunt, and compete, she is a valued member of our family!
