I'm Debra S., the breeder behind Debra Stafford's Whippets located in Santa Ana, CA. We enjoy showing our dogs, & they are our companions in every adventure. We do all we can to give our dogs & pups the best lives. We are very passionate about dogs and responsible breeding practices. We hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs.

Getting a puppy from Debra
Debra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes worming, veterinary wellness check and fecal exam, the first round of puppy vaccines, AKC Reunite Microchip, Vohlard Aptitude Testing, Evaluation by world-renowned Whippet Breeder-Judges, Puppy Culture and New Born to New Home raising and socialization. Deposit puts you on waitlist for pup from current litter. Pup must be picked up by 12 weeks of age or you forfeit pup & deposit. If there is no appropriate pup for you, deposit will be refunded.”
Contract & health guarantee
Debra may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
