Meet the breeder

I'm Scott H., the breeder behind DelMar Dreams Samoyeds located in Fallbrook, CA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament first and foremost, with a focus on conformation, athleticism, intelligence, and typical Sammy spirit. We are dedicated to providing families with wonderful, loving, and healthy family pets.

Q. & A. with Scott

  • Why did you start breeding?

Adele was born into the breed with her mother, and Scott started with Samoyeds on the east coast in 2000. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. DelMar Dreams Samoyeds will make every effort to ensure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right breeder.
  • What makes your program special?

We don't have a lot of breedings, just a handful since 2010. We take a lot of care when selecting which two Samoyeds to breed together. Our litters are whelped by us, in our home, and we attend to them every minute of every day. The process of selecting a potential "forever" home is important to us and we strive to have a lasting friendship with the puppy owners as well.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
