I'm Laura-Sue P., the breeder behind Denim & Doodles located in Clifton, AZ. As a small family breeder, our dogs are part of our family. Our puppies are raised in our home, socialized with our children and other pets, and exposed to the sounds of a busy household. We pour our hearts into providing a great foundation so that each puppy is healthy, confident and well-adjusted.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our beloved breeding pair was a wedding gift from an established breeder and family member. We raised our gentle dad, Teddy Bear, from 10 weeks old. Our mom, Tilly, lived in a household of busy boys before joining our little family. She's intelligent and playful. Both are cherished family pets, combining Teddy's sweet, mellow nature with Tilly's bubbly intelligence to create the perfect pair.

  • What makes your program special?

    We aim to share the joy and companionship we've been given. We believe this wonderful breed should be accessible to all families, so we offer them at an affordable price without sacrificing quality. Our parents have registered, tested, and clear bloodlines. We limit litters to one per year to ensure mama remains healthy and happy, so she can continue to be the wonderful family pet we cherish.

    Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Laura-Sue

Laura-Sue has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Laura-Sue partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We don’t begin assessing our puppies' personalities until they are about 4 to 6 weeks old. Both their temperaments and coats continue to develop during those first few months. While some families feel an immediate connection to a specific puppy, others prefer to wait and see how their unique traits bloom. Currently, our litter features a wonderful variety: a few mellow souls, some energetic explorers, and a couple who aren't afraid to voice their opinions! I’m confident we will find the perfect match for you.”

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes: - 1st vet check - UTD on vaccines/deworming - DNA screening (through Wisdom Panel) for genetic health concerns on mom/dad so you know your pup is genetically healthy. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. Full of partial deposits may be refunded under special circumstances.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
