I'm Karrie C., the breeder behind Desert Born Kennel located in Queen Creek, AZ. We are a local Arizona based breeder of goldendoodles and poodles located in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Our parent dogs live with us in our home and our considered are life long pets. ​ We started this business with the hope that our puppies we find forever homes. We love to see others happy when they find the perfect pet companion.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Poodle puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include apricot and red. Poodle puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karrie

Karrie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karrie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Once buyers have secured a deposit, I will send continuous updates about the puppies as they grow. Around 7–8 weeks, when their personalities begin to develop more clearly, buyers will be able to choose which puppy they would like to add to their family. Puppy selection order is based on the order deposits were received.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Karrie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Karrie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Karrie directly.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
