I'm Kathy B., the breeder behind Desert Mountain Doodles located in Wrightwood, CA. We believe in giving back, so a portion of the purchase price of our pups is donated to a dog rescue of the buyers choice.
Q. & A. with Kathy
Why did you start breeding?
I became interested in Goldendoodles after adopting our first Doodle, Finn. I fell in love with these adorable goofballs! We have since decided to breed doodles in order to provide families with healthy, happy puppies and to raise money for rescue organizations. I have joined GANA in an effort to help promote responsible breeding, to help develop the breed.
What makes your program special?
We are breeding for health and temperament. Denali is a sweet loving dog with a quirky personality- she makes us laugh every day! Mac is super smart, calm and a very attentive, loving boy! We will be breeding them for standard size, F1b goldendoodles. We also should have a variety of colors as both our dogs carry for brown, cream and parti, along with black.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
