Meet the breeder

I'm Trisha F., the breeder behind Desert Valley Doodles located in Central, AZ. We take great pride in creating the entire package for a loving family. At Desert Valley Doodles our puppies are health tested, high-quality fed, and started on the right path to training. Our puppies are known to adjust well and quickly to their furever home. We follow Puppy Culture. We would be honored to introduce you to your newest companion!

Q. & A. with Trisha

  • Why did you start breeding?

I raised miniature schnauzers for 8 years until one day I met my first doodle. It was love at first sight! I have been raising doodle and poodles for the past 5 years. My favorite parts about breeding is training these smart puppies and meeting and training wonderful families to take over the care of each puppy.
  • What makes your program special?

I am very passionate at what I do. It is very important that a puppy is ready and able to transition well into its new family role. This includes both parties having knowledge and training to create a lasting relationship. I spend the time needed with each puppy and family to teach the basics and give information to families to continue the care of their puppy.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include blenheim and red. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, and parti. Poodle puppies include red and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

From the very first call, Trisha was incredibly responsive and genuinely invested in finding the right fit for our family. She took the time to learn about us, our kids, and what kind of temperament we were hoping for. She shared thoughtful insights about the litter and each pup’s personality to help us make the best match. Throughout the process, she sent detailed videos and photos, answered every question with honesty, and was completely transparent—even pointing out things like Asteroid’s potential underbite and what to consider as he grew. Her care and integrity really stood out. By the time we brought Asteroid home, he was already familiar with basic training concepts, and Trisha provided videos and a tailored plan to help us continue his learning at home (even adjusted for our kids’ ages!). She’s followed up since with helpful reminders and encouragement. We truly came home with the perfect dog—happy, confident, and so well-adjusted. I can’t recommend Trisha enough and will be doing my very best not to get another puppy… only because these pups are just that amazing. We’re so grateful to have found her and her wonderful family of pups!

After one talk with Trisha, I knew that I had finally found the right breeder for our family dog. I had a wonderful experience with her and we are all in love with our new family member! Trisha was available, response, and caring. She works hard to raise and breed high-quality dogs. They are appropriately socialized and our puppy came home eager to learn and love us. She started the crate and potty training process, had provided his initial vet exam and vaccinations and even gave us a binder full of helpful information and resources. We are so grateful to have a smart, healthy, loving, and dedicated puppy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Desert Valley Doodles to anyone!! Thank you so much, Trisha!
